While we do not condescend to know the time at which human life begins, we acknowledge that there are many valid philosophical perspectives, which to rest on closely held values, of life and liberty, to such an extent as to be un-debatable between those with the courage of their convictions.
Therefore, with respect for all parties involved, we will make it our goal to create the environment which most limits the artificial termination of pregnancy and least infringes on personal liberty. This will be accomplished by taking measures that increase women’s access to preventative medicine and contraception while also taking measures to increase prosperity among those most likely to resort to abortion. Once those conditions are created, we leave the ultimate outcome of the pregnancy to the conscience of the carrier. We humbly submit this resolution in good faith, with the understanding that a good compromise leaves no one happy.
